What does God say about the New Year?

December 31st

Year of Splendor!

By Riqui Ricón*

Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. (Luke 5.4-7).

Today is a day to believe and declare. Believe and declare what the Bible, God’s Word which doesn’t lie, say about you and the times you are living.

This is why I believe and declare that next year is the year you will reign using the abundant Grace that is upon you. It will be a year where you will reach the Splendor of the Lord’s Glory!

In this day in particular, when everyone is celebrating the arrival of a new year, before the growing threats of financial crisis, health problems, violence and organized crime everywhere, family crisis, total and absolute loss of human values, weather changes, global warming, hunger, wars, hurricanes, tsunamis, illegal migration etc., it is a good time to remember that father, man of family that, desperate, searched for Jesus to ask him for HELP for is sick child who none of the disciples could heal.

And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child. And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. (Mark 9.21-23).

Wow! What a chutzpah! To say to Jesus “If you can do something”. Well, maybe you are facing this new year with the same plea toward Him. I don’t know, maybe your problems and needs are overwhelming you to a point where you can’t find any other way out but to plea to Him: “if you can do something, have mercy on me and help me!”

Well, I have very good news; look at the answer Jesus gave that overwhelmed father: If you can believe, all things are possible to those who believe!

And when Jesus says “all” He means, exactly, ALL.

Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours (Mark 11.22-24 NIV).

It doesn’t matter if your circumstances say the contrary, for your circumstances will never be able to change the truth but, with Jesus Christ and the Truth of His Word, be sure that, your circumstances will always change.

Peter Simon had been working all night without fishing anything and before a shortage reality and fruitless work Jesus asked Peter to row into open sea and cast the netS (plurar), for He had planned for them a year of abundant plentitude. However, even though Peter said he’d do it because of His Word, he only casted A net (singular) and the net was breaking.

Interesting, isn’t it? While God plans for you to live your life in His abundant Blessing, all the forces of hell and its apparent reality work so you DON’T believe it and, as Peter, act out of discipline casting only one old net.

“Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities. “Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the roach of your widowhood. For your Maker is your husband— the Lord Almighty is his name— the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth. (Isa 54.2-5 NVI).

The beautiful part of this story is that Jesus did not reproach Peter for his incredulity but, even though he was short to miss the most amazing and abundant fishing he had ever had, Jesus gave it to him with His Love and Fatherly heart.

SEE HOW VERY MUCH our heavenly Father loves us, for he allows us to be called his children—think of it—and we really are! But since most people don’t know God, naturally they don’t understand that we are his children. (1 John 3.1 LB).

Despite all circumstance or reality you are facing today living this precise moment, get ready to receive the New Year with happiness, joy and expectation, for the next year is the year where you will reign to do great works in God’s Kingdom through the abundant Grace which is upon you.

It will be a year of Splendor! The Glory of Jehovah will shine upon you once more!

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him (John 3.16-17 NIV).

This will be like this through your faith, for God only asks you to believe, to believe to Him, believe His Word, the Bible. And it is the Bible the one who clearly states that God loves you so much that He preferred to give up His own Son before losing you.

God did not keep back his own Son, but he gave him for us. If God did this, won’t he freely give us everything else? (Ro 8.32 CEV).

So, only stay steady in God’s Word and declare with audible voice over your New Year:

Dear heavenly Father, in this last day of the year I face my future perfectly knowing who I am: Your loved Child! In Your Word, the Bible, I establish that this New Year:

  • I can do all in Christ who strengthens me!
  • I am God’s and I have conquered because the One in me is greater than the one in the world!
  • For sure Jesus Christ carried my diseases and suffered my pains and by his wounds I HAVE ALREADY BEEN HEALED!
  • I am more than a conqueror in all things through He who loved me, Jesus Christ!
  • He who was begotten by God, Jesus Christ, keeps me and the evil one won’t touch me!

Lord, my God, next year will be for me a year of Achievement through Your abundant Grace. It will be a year of Splendor! So, I will live this next year, from January to December:

  • In health, free from diseases.
  • Without fear at all for I will not fail.
  • Without fear of bad news, for my heart is firm, trusting in You, Lord, and in Your Word of Honor. My heart is insured!

I reject poverty and shortage and I declare that all next year I will proceed with Your Blessing, and there will be goods and riches in my house. I established the Love, Peace and Joy in my family and all my relationships. You and I, Holy Spirit, will make this New Year the best year of my life. I will not fear! You, Lord, are my light and my hope. You are the strength of my life! Who will I fear? I know well that, before any possible economical or social problem, a thousand will fall to my side and ten thousand to my right but none will reach me. As for You, oh God, I have set my love in, You will also free me; set me up high, for I have known Your name. In this next year I will invoke you, and You will answer, You will be with me in the anguish; you will free me and glorify me. You will satiate of long life and show me Your salvation. New Year! I will reign and do great works for God’s Kingdom through His abundant Grace. I will live in the Splendor of Jehovah’s Glory in my life! In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Note of importance:

How do I become a Child of God? How do I establish my relationship with the Almighty?

Simply say this prayer, placing all of your attention and heart into what you’re saying to God:

Lord Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God. That you came to this world from the Virgen Mary to pay for all of my sins, and I have been a sinner. This is why today I tell you, I accept. I accept your sacrifice on the cross! Yes, I accept Your precious Blood, spilled to the very last drop, out of love for me! I open my heart to you and invite you in, because I want you, oh Lord Jesus, to be my one and only Savior, my God, my King, my Lord. Thank you, God Almighty, for with this simple prayer and declaration of faith I have come from death to Life, I have been displaced from the shadows and into Your marvelous Light. Today I have been Reborn! God I am now Your Child! You are now my Father! I will never again be alone! Never again will I live defeated. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

What lies ahead for you next year?

December 30th

This new year you will reign through the abundant Grace and manifest the Splendor of God’s Glory in your life!

By Riqui Ricón*

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice forever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.  And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. (Isa 65.17-19).

Now that you are finishing up a year and about to start a completely new one it is important to remember that God’s plan for your life is to make it completely new.

Only with a completely new life will you be able to see and enjoy these new heavens and this new earth that, promised by God, will, without any doubt, be about to become real.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (john 3.3-6).

The good news is that thanks to the Love God has for you and to Jesus’ death and resurrection you have entered the Spirit’s dimension being born Again as a Child of God.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. (Ephesians 2.4-5 NIV).

So, it is because God’s Love, your Father, that Jesus Christ paid all your sins and paid the consequent eternal death to which you were surely directing to and offered you the gift of the abundant life that only a Child of God can have: Eternal Life!

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10.10).

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6.23 TLB).

So, you can believe it and you must declare it and shout it out loud:I have all the right to make my life a plentiful and abundant one in Jesus Christ!

And of course you can achieve it, if you start living and acting like you truly believe God, believing His Word, for you have been made just and the just shall live by faith (believing God, believing His Word)

For you have a new life. It was not passed on to you from your parents, for the life they gave you will fade away. This new one will last forever, for it comes from Christ, God’s ever-living Message to men (1 P 1.23 TLB).

Facing a new year will always be exciting if you know the Truth (the Bible): That you are a Child of God, Born Again, and not from a corruptible seed but from the incorruptible one which is God’s Word, which lives and lingers forever.

They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them. And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. (Isa 65.23-24).

So, get ready! Because in this year you will not work in vain, nor will you bring cursing, for you are the linage of the Lord’s blessed and your children along with you. Before you ask God for anything, He will answer, and while you are still talking He will have already listened.

SEE HOW VERY MUCH our heavenly Father loves us, for he allows us to be called his children—think of it—and we really are! But since most people don’t know God, naturally they don’t understand that we are his children. (1 John 3.1 TLB).

In this year that’s starting, God is very interested in you finding out and believing that, through His son, Jesus’ Blood, He has redeemed you from all curse and has bought you so you are lawfully and legitimately His Son. For only in this way can He fulfill His desire spoken in all the Bible: That you live a Plentiful and abundant life.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (1 P 5.8).

The thief’s purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. My purpose is to give life in all its fullness. (John 10.10 TLB).

It is also important that you remember that now you are not from this world and, therefore, you are at war against it. You have an enemy that, through tricks and lies, will do all the possible to make you believe him and that way fill you up with fear and incredulity to avoid, at all cost, that you believe God.

However, you have nothing to worry about,

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.  (Col 2.13-15).

The good news is that that enemy and all his followers are defeated and die of fear by thinking that you find out and believe who you now are in Jesus Christ.

And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice, Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God. (Luke4.33-34).

Para esto apareció el Hijo de Dios, para deshacer las obras del diablo (1 Jn 3.8b).

That’s right, Jesus is in your life to undo all the works of the devil, works of fear, anguish, disease, poverty, bitterness, pain, depression and loneliness. By the New Pact in His Blood you are now a New Creation and the glorious Holy Spirit lives in you and with you to give you a completely New Life, Abundant Life, Eternal Life.

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.  But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.  And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. (Isa 65.17-19).

So, before finishing this year, get ready to receive a new year. Rejoice! Don’t believe in the devil anymore. You don’t need to be paying any price. The sacrifice of Love that Jesus did for you is complete, perfect and finished. Just like, with your faith, you have received Him as Lord and Savior of your life, in the same way receive the New Life that He already disposed for you.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; (1 P 2.9).

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Mat 6.33).

So that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Ro 5.21 NIV).

This new year is the year you will reign through the abundant Grace so you achieve great works in God’s Kingdom!

It’ll be a year of Splendor!

Let’s pray out loud:

Dear heavenly Father, thank you so much because I can end this year today in the victory that Jesus Christ won for me. Lord Jesus, thank you for the New Life you have given me to rejoice and be happy for ever. Thanks to what you did for me in that cross, for the New nature I now have and enjoy, I believe and declare that this next year I will not work in vain nor will I give light for cursing for I am linage of the Lord’s blessed and my children along with me. Before I ask you for anything you will answer me, and even as I am still speaking You will have already heard me. I will not listen to voices of discouragement and failure. I will not give a place to incredulity or fear in my life. With Your help, Holy Spirit, I will make of the next year the year I will start reigning through your Abundant Grace. I will make of next year the year of the Splendor of Your Glory inside me. So, I will come out more than a conqueror from every problem, disease or affliction, for I can do ALL in Christ who strengthens me. Therefore, I tie, reprend and cast away from my life disease, poverty, shortage, family conflicts, loneliness, anguish, depression, fear and every work of lies. I am healthy! I am free! I am prosperous! I am joyful! I am a Child of God, Born Again! In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Note of importance:

How do I become a Child of God? How do I establish my relationship with the Almighty?

Simply say this prayer, placing all of your attention and heart into what you’re saying to God:

Lord Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God. That you came to this world from the Virgin Mary to pay for all of my sins, and I have been a sinner. This is why today I tell you, I accept.
